In the evening, Nitekirk was a very special time of reflection, meditation and prayer. The next will be held on October 30, from 6-8pm.
On Wednesday there was a busy afternoon having fun with food at Family Fun. The next event will be a Light Party, 4-5.30 on Wednesday 26th October. All are welcome!
Sunday evening saw Nerys’s priesting – a joyful and uplifting service well attended by clergy from around the diocese 🙂
During the weeks since the referendum to leave the EU and the rise in racist abuse down south, a group from St John’s has been working on a project to assure people from other countries living in and around Perth that they are welcome here. We have come up with this postcard. The process of distribution will start on Tuesday 23rd August.

Throughout August we will have a world map laid in front of the altar on which folks are encouraged to pin their prayers for countries and areas. Everyone is welcome to come in to pray.
For this year’s summer organ recital, we enjoyed a performance by Geoff Bolton of works by Buxtehude, Schumann, Couperin (for which the audience joined-in singing the Agnus Dei), Bach, Gigout and Alain, interspersed with informative discussion on each piece.
