Welcome Postcards and Poster
Welcome - a postcard of welcome in many languages

Welcome – a postcard of welcome in many language

During the weeks since the referendum to leave the EU and the rise in racist abuse down south, a group from St John’s has been working on a project to assure people from other countries living in and around Perth that they are welcome here. We have come up with this postcard. The process of distribution will start on Tuesday 23rd August.

Garden Party 2016
On Saturday we held the summer Garden Party at the Rectory. There were funny hats, strawberries and good conversations. Prosecco might have been consumed 🙂
Pray for our World

A world map laid out in front of the altar for folks to pin prayers on countries and areas.

Throughout August we will have a world map laid in front of the altar on which folks are encouraged to pin their prayers for countries and areas. Everyone is welcome to come in to pray.

Organ Recital 2016

For this year’s summer organ recital, we enjoyed a performance by Geoff Bolton of works by Buxtehude, Schumann, Couperin (for which the audience joined-in singing the Agnus Dei), Bach, Gigout and Alain, interspersed with informative discussion on each piece.
