The memorial service for Ernie Holmes took place on Wednesday 20th July. Ernie was a member of St John's Episcopal Church, Perth, who died in 2021 at the age of 100. His story as a wartime pilot was featured on BBC Songs of Praise a few years ago. Before the service the RAF performed a flypast to salute his memory.
