Job Description
Role: Administrator (part time, 10hrs per week)
Location: St John’s Episcopal Church, Princes Street, Perth
Reports to: The Rector
Purpose of Role
The Church Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Rector enabling the smooth running of administrative and financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
· Dealing with all correspondence efficiently and appropriately whether by email, phone or letter.
· Manging the booking process for rooms within the church and the invoicing of charges to external users
· Producing the weekly service sheet
· Producing the bi-monthly church magazine
· Producing ad hoc publicity and communication materials for services and events
· Updating the church website (WordPress) and social media accounts
· Ordering of consumables for the office
· Maintaining congregational records, including key holders
· Processing of invoices and making payments
· Supporting the Rector with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
