It was a tremendous evening listening to Ferntower Jazz as they aimed to support St John’s by giving of their time and talents. For fuller comment see the December Quest magazine.

Great Cafe Church at St. John’s this month. After Christine’s boot being filled with our Harvest collection for the local Food Bank, Marjorie came along and told us all about it. Thanks for good support all around.

On Saturday 28th September at 12 noon the ordination to the Diaconate will take place of Annie MacKay Hughes at St Ninian’s Cathedral, Perth. All are welcome and actively encouraged to attend to support Annie on this significant day for her and for St John’s as she begins to serve her self supporting curacy amongst us. There will be the opportunity to greet her more personally in St John’s after the Harvest Sunday service the following day.
On Wednesday 11th September at Cafe Church we heard about all that is involved in volunteering at ‘Starter Packs’. As many of you will be aware there is a box at the back of the church for appropriate items that can be taken to the depot for sorting into packs. Thank you to everyone who supports Cafe Church.
