Wonderful Christmas services at St John's. We hope you had an opportunity to worship and celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus at some point between Christmas eve and Christmas day. A photo album of various recent events in St John's will follow in the next week or two.
Services are at the usual times this Sunday morning but as we approach Christmas there are extra services during the week:
24th at 4pm Christingle service and at 11pm Midnight Eucharist
25th at 10.30am Sung Eucharist led by Bishop Ian Paton.
On this Sunday 15th December instead of a Sung Eucharist there will be a service of Lessons and Carols to which all are warmly invited.
It was a tremendous evening listening to Ferntower Jazz as they aimed to support St John’s by giving of their time and talents. For fuller comment see the December Quest magazine.
Great Cafe Church at St. John’s this month. After Christine’s boot being filled with our Harvest collection for the local Food Bank, Marjorie came along and told us all about it. Thanks for good support all around.
