St John the Baptist Sharing Christ's love in Perth
Current worship restrictions in church buildings

During the early stage of the coronavirus crisis worship and meetings in our buildings were not taking place place and with the new announcement from the Scottish Government we return to the same restrictions .

We are therefore currently not permitted to open for congregational worship.  The only exceptions are for funerals with a limit of twenty people, weddings with five people only and for the recording of online services.

In recent months St John’s 10.30am service has been live-streamed from a camera in the choir gallery, so those who were unable to attend and have the technical facility have been able to watch it online.  During the current restrictions we are returning to a pre-recorded video as was made available earlier last year.

Following current guidelines we can open the church for worship with a maximum of twenty individuals under level 4 restrictions.    The live YouTube link for Sunday worship can be accessed here shortly before 10.30am.  If you cannot attend our worship in person we would love to have you join us as the service is filmed from the church gallery: https://youtu.be/lwime_G6ELk

Due to enhanced restrictions worship in a church building is currently reduced to twenty individuals thus booking to attend a service is essential.  Due to the limited numbers there may need to be a simple rota system but do contact Judy whose details are on the main page of the website to book your space.
