Maundy Thursday

  • 11.00 a.m. Holy Communion
  • 7.00 p.m. Sung Eucharist with Feet Washing and Vigil, ends with compline at 8.30 p.m.

Good Friday

  • 12.00–3.00 p.m. Good Friday Devotions 
    led by Canon Elaine Garman 
    with Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion.

Holy Saturday

  • 1.30 p.m. Swieconka 2026. The blessing of Easter baskets.

Easter Sunday

  • 7.00 a.m. PACT Dawn Service at Quarrymill
  • 8.30 a.m. Holy Communion

Sound and Sense Workshops

SOUND AND SENSE

at St John's Episcopal Church, Perth on Saturday, 14th March 2026 from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm

presented by John Bell and Jane Bentley from The lona Community

Join us for a day of workshops, opening up new ways to experience the richness of songs and scripture, irrespective of musical ability or biblical knowledge.

Both John and Jane have worked with churches throughout the UK and across the globe.

Their work is to encourage local people to find new expressions of worship open to all ages, using both familiar and new songs and stories.

The day begins with coffee and tea at 11.00 am followed by three workshops and a short closing liturgy. There will be a break for lunch midway, and we would kindly ask you to bring you own lunch with you.

Please sign up for this day in advance – places will be capped at 80. The day is supported by donations, and we would be obliged if you could please give generously as all donations will go towards the lona Community fund and their travel to Perth.
