How to find us
The church is located on Princes Street, by the junction of Canal Street, and is marked on the map below at the top of the pink circle. Please note there are two other churches in Perth dedicated to St John; it is easier to find us by asking for Princes Street than by the name of the church.

For a more detailed street map showing street names and one way system by Google but note that the Google map shows the church further south than it really is. The OS map here is accurate.

Princes Street is the main street north to south under the pink circle above. The church is on the junction with Canal Street which runs east to west immediately north of the church. Note that Princes Street is one way only to the north, and Canal Street is one way only to the west.
There is plenty of car parking nearby: street parking in and around Princes Street, a car park immediately next to the church on Canal Street, a multi-story car park just a couple of hundred meters to the west along Canal Street, or nearby at the far north east corner of the South Inch car park. All parking is by pay and display tickets. The South Inch car park is the cheapest and is only 5 minutes walk to the church along Princes Street, north from the cross road at the NW corner of the car park.
By Train
Perth station is served by a regular service by Scotrail and the daily East Coast Highland Chieftain from Kings Cross, York, Newcastle etc. The railway station is shown towards the west end of the map, and the church is a pleasant 10 minute walk along the north side of the North Inch parkland, and up Princes Street. On leaving the station forecourt, turn right, go under the railway bridge and carry onto to the crossroads with traffic lights, turn left into Princes Street. Alternatively it is a 3 minute taxi ride to the church, from the station taxi rank.
By Express coach
A frequent express coach service from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness call at the bus station on St Leonard's Street just a hundred meters north of the railway station. Services are provided by CityLink, Megabus and National Express.
It is about ten minutes walk to the church, on leaving the bus station turn left - pass the railway station on the right, follow the road around to the left, under the railway bridge and carry onto to the crossroads with traffic lights, turn left into Princes Street.
Many coaches to Perth call at Broxden coach stop on the western edge of the town, try to avoid those coaches if you can, look for the ones to St Leonard Street bus station.
Airline
Regular Express buses operate from Edinburgh airport, using the AirDirect747 to the Ferrytoll and then onward coaches as above.
